FDNY releases new PSA for 101st National Fire Prevention Week

The FDNY Foundation joined the FDNY in commemorating the 101st National Fire Prevention Week with a new Public Service Announcement (PSA) starring its fire safety mascot Hot Dog. The new PSA highlights the importance to store and charge lithium-ion batteries outside where possible. This year’s theme is: ‘Safe Charging Is a Superpower!’

The Department’s PSA program is made possible with support from the FDNY Foundation.
