FDNY Foundation Mourns the Loss of Kellie Childs from the FDNY Bureau of Revenue Management

The FDNY Foundation joins the FDNY in mourning the loss of Kellie Childs who passed away from the coronavirus. Ms. Childs spent 32 years with the FDNY. She worked in the Bureau of Revenue Management as Director of the Cashiers’ Unit. There, she supervised collection of customer payments for fire prevention licenses and certifications.

“Through her many years of service supporting licenses and certifications for the Bureau of Fire Prevention, Ms. Childs was a vital part of keeping our city safe,” said Commissioner Daniel A. Nigro. “Every member of the FDNY plays an important role in protecting our city. Our entire Department mourns her loss.”
