FDNY Foundation Congratulates Probationary EMTs on their Graduation and EMS Officers on their Promotions

On Thursday, August 13, the FDNY Foundation joined the FDNY for a joint graduation and promotion ceremony for Probationary EMTs and EMS Officers at a Ceremony in Queens.

The FDNY Foundation congratulates the probationary EMTs on their graduation and the EMS Officers on their promotions! They are a remarkable group and we wish them the best of luck! We thank them for choosing a career of service and commitment to protecting the people and City of New York, and proudly representing the FDNY.

“Today, we recognize new EMTs beginning their careers, paramedics who have taken on an entirely new level of responsibility, and two sergeants who are taking the next step in leadership as lieutenants,” Chief of EMS Operations Paul Miano said. “Those may seem like three very different milestones, but they all have something important in common. Every person that will walk across this stage today has decided to move forward and accept more responsibility than they had yesterday.”
