FDNY Foundation Congratulates FDNY EMS Officers on their Promotions

On Tuesday, June 2, the FDNY Foundation joined the FDNY for an EMS Officer Promotion ceremony at FDNY headquarters in Brooklyn. EMS Officers were promoted to the ranks of Deputy Assistant Chief, Division Chief, Deputy Chief and Captain.

The FDNY Foundation congratulates these EMS Officers on their promotions. This is a tremendous accomplishment for them and their families. We wish them continued success and thank them for their service and commitment to protecting the people and City of New York and proudly representing the FDNY.

“Leadership is not measured by the rank on your collar, but by the success and achievements of those you have led,” Chief of EMS Operations Paul Miano said. “Leadership requires us to support our members, remove their obstacles, make difficult decisions, and create an environment where others can succeed. It is your responsibility to not just maintain what you inherited, but to improve it.”
