D.C. Raymond M. Downey 25th Anniversary “Forever Running “Memorial 5K Run/Walk and ¼ mile Kids Fun Run: To keep the memory of Chief Downey and all the victims of Sept. 11th alive. The 5k run will take place on June 21st, 2026, at 9:30 am and Kids Fun Run at 9:00 at the Deer Park Fire Dept Training Center, 973 Nicholls Road, Deer Park, NY.
Special awards, raffle prizes, carnival entertainment, and a family barbecue will follow the run. All money raised will go to the D.C. Raymond M Downey Scholarship Charity Fund.
