It is with deep sadness that the FDNY Foundation joins the FDNY in mourning the passing of retired FDNY Firefighter John G. McCann of Ladder 26, who succumbed to his WTC illness on Saturday, August 16, 2025. Firefighter McCann was a 19-year veteran of the department.
