It is with deep sadness that the FDNY Foundation joins the FDNY in mourning the passing of Active Firefighter Joseph M. Herman of Ladder Company 111, who passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2025. Firefighter Herman served our great department for 10 years.
Firefighter Herman is survived by his 2 year old daughter. The FDNY Foundation has set up a scholarship fund for firefighter Herman’s daughter.
