It is with deep sadness that the FDNY Foundation joins the FDNY in announcing the passing of Firefighter Matthew J. McDevitt of L-135 who lost a hard fought battle with a rare cancer on Tuesday October 29, 2019. FF McDevitt leaves behind a wife and two young children. Our thoughts are with Firefighter McDevitt’s family and friends during this difficult time.
