The FDNY Foundation is once again proud to partner with SL Green Realty Corp. for the 4th Annual FDNY Foundation Climb to SUMMIT at One Vanderbilt in New York City on Sunday, April 19, 2026.
Participants will race up 1,100 feet to SUMMIT to emphasize the importance of physical fitness – especially for FDNY Firefighters, EMTs and Paramedics who are faced daily with the physical demands of the job, but who are always ready to respond at a moment’s notice.
Gather a team of family, friends, or coworkers, or embrace the adventure of climbing solo. You’ll be climbing alongside New York’s Bravest! Funds raised will support training and fitness equipment for FDNY members.
2026 marks 25 years since the September 11th attacks on our city and our nation.
We honor the FDNY’s heroic actions on that day, saving countless lives. This year’s climb will be a special one as we will come together to honor and remember the 343 FDNY members who made the ultimate sacrifice on 9/11, and the more than 400 who have since passed from 9/11-related illnesses.
