About Us
The FDNY Foundation is the official not-for-profit organization of the FDNY established to promote Fire Safety in New York City and fund professional development, training, and education programs for members of the FDNY.
The funds raised by the Foundation support the FDNY in its mission to save lives in New York City. The tireless and essential work of the FDNY Foundation ensures the ongoing training, education and supply of state of the art equipment to the FDNY.
In addition to our support of the FDNY, we raise money for the Department’s public safety programs, ensuring the public learns the skills they need to protect themselves and others in the event of fire, natural and terrorism disasters and medical emergencies.
The work of the FDNY Foundation would not be possible without the generous support of people like you. Our fundraising helps the FDNY to maintain the tradition of excellence that sets the world standard in fire suppression, prevention, pre-hospital medical care and emergency response.
