Be 911 Compression Only CPR
Learn Compressions Only CPR
The Be 911 Compression Only CPR program is brought to you free of charge by FDNY and NYC Service. CPR stands for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation. The goal of the CPR To-Go Program is to train as many people as possible in basic CPR skills. In addition, participants will be briefly educated on the automated external defibrillator (AED) used to try and revive a person suffering from cardiac arrest. Though this program does not certify any participants, we believe increasing the knowledge of how to save a life is far more beneficial.
When: Basic CPR training is currently taking place. Appointments can be made Monday through Friday during the hours of 9a.m. to 7p.m. Classes may be approximately twenty minutes depending on the size of the group.
Where: FDNY’s Emergency Medical Service Teams will come out to your site to conduct the CPR training using your facilities.
Who: Be 911 Compression Only CPR welcomes all ages, as long as the individual can demonstrate competency in retaining the required skills.
How: Please click the link here for individual registration. For group registration of 15 or more participants and further information, please contact the FDNY’s CPR Training Unit at Telephone Number 718-281-3888.
