15 Years Later: How Can We Say Thank You?

The FDNY Foundation will join the FDNY to mark 15 years since September 11, 2001 in just a few days.

That day, 343 members of the FDNY made the Supreme Sacrifice.

Many more who worked in the rescue and recovery efforts at the World Trade Center developed illnesses as a result of their selfless work. To date, more than 120 of those members have died.

The men and women of the FDNY carry on the legacies of those who lost their lives by carrying on their work with unwavering dedication. They are committed to saving the lives of you and your loved ones and they answer the call every single day – no matter the cost.

The rebuilding efforts undertaken after 9/11 were unprecedented in scope and magnitude, but now, 15 years later, the FDNY is more resilient and stronger than ever.

The FDNY Foundation, its Board of Directors and its supporters work tirelessly to honor the memories of those who made this sacrifice by ensuring that the FDNY has the funds it needs to be better trained, better equipped and better prepared than ever before.

You can help the Foundation remember those who lost their lives 15 years ago and help us to thank the Greatest Fire Department in the World for continuing their work. Click here to make a donation today.
